Meet the Team: Corin Hamilton
I have worked as a college counselor for the past ten years. During that time, I have helped hundreds of students (and their families) navigate the college admissions process.
I currently work in the Sacramento area. Before moving here and founding Capital College Counseling, I managed a large college counseling firm in the Bay Area.
Outside of work, I volunteer as a counselor for low-income, first generation college applicants and as an adult literacy tutor.
I graduated from Pomona College (Go Sagehens!) in 2012 with a degree in English.

Meet the Team: Ryan Hatcher
I recently returned to my role as a college counselor after spending the last 5 years driving the recruitment process for leading venture-funded companies in the Bay Area and Chicago including Uber, Stripe and Blind. I am excited to be bringing this knowledge on the job market (especially within STEM careers paths) back to the world of college admissions!
Prior to my time in the world of recruiting, I worked as a college counselor for a large Bay Area counseling firm. I have also worked as a private essay reader/editor for the greater California area.
Outside of work, you can find me learning and reading, usually either an epic fantasy series or learning about an interesting intersection of work and technology.
I graduated pre-law in 2012 from UCLA with a Political Science major (ask me about my experience working within Big Law and deciding to take another route!).
